报告人简介：

Dr. Cameron Peace is an Associate Professor in Tree Fruit Genetics in the Department of Horticulture, Washington State University (WSU), Pullman, WA, USA. He is Project Co-Director of RosBREED 1 (2009—2014) and RosBREED 2 (2014—2019), large-scale multi-disciplinary research projects funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture—Specialty Crop Research Initiative project. RosBREED aims to bridge the “chasm” between genomics research and applied breeding. His research is focused on developing strategies, tools, and knowledge in tree fruit DNA-informed breeding and training next generation of translational geneticists and fruit breeders. He works with many fruit breeding programs in the U.S. and around the world. He serves as an Associate Editor of the journal Horticulture Research, Academic Editor of PLoS ONE, and has advisory and reviewing roles in translational genetics projects and breeding programs.
